Celebrate Golden Bear Success

Ryan Dubay (Biology and Biomedical Engineering) received the joint (Advisor/Student) American Society for Microbiology fellowship award with Dr. Dawn Holmes. This fellowship covered research conducted during summer 2014 and attendance at the General Meeting of ASM in New Orleans in 2015 where Ryan Dubay presented a poster.

At the 2015 Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientists (NEAFS) Annual Meeting in Hyannis, MA, a team of four Forensic Science students competed against several other universities both at the undergraduate and graduate levels within the NEAFS geographical area which covers all of New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The student team won with the highest overall score, even higher than the competing graduate programs.
