麻花视频 University School of Law's Black Law Student Association Recognized as NEBLSA Medium Chapter of the Year 2023-2024

麻花视频 University (WNE) proudly announces that its School of Law's Black Law Student Association (BLSA) has been honored with the prestigious NEBLSA Medium Chapter of the Year 2023-2024 award by the (NEBLSA).

NEBLSA, a regional affiliate of the (NBLSA), is committed to advocating for diversity in legal education and the legal profession. The organization is comprised of 34 local chapters in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. NEBLSA's membership consists of over 1000 law students.

The NEBLSA Chapter of the Year award recognizes outstanding achievement and commitment to the mission of NBLSA. In winning this esteemed accolade, 麻花视频 University's School of Law's BLSA demonstrated exemplary dedication to fostering cultural responsibility, academic excellence, professional success, and community impact.

Additionally, Nichola "Nikki" Tracey, this year's President of WNE BLSA, was honored with the NEBLSA Chapter President of the Year award for her exceptional leadership and dedication to advancing the mission of NBLSA within the Northeast Region.

Furthermore, Joel Wesonga, current Treasurer of the WNE BLSA, was elevated to Treasurer of NEBLSA 57and will be responsible for the financial operations for the entire northeast region.

"The recognition of our Black Law Student Association as the NEBLSA Chapter of the Year, along with the individual achievements of Nichola Tracey and Joel Wesonga, underscores 麻花视频 University School of Law's commitment to diversity, excellence, and community engagement," remarked Zelda Harris, dean of the 麻花视频 University School of Law.

This prestigious accolade reflects the tireless efforts and dedication of the entire BLSA community at 麻花视频 University School of Law. Through their initiatives and advocacy, they continue to make significant strides towards fostering a more inclusive and equitable legal profession, in addition to increasing the 5% of black attorneys in the United States.
